I’m an observer.  I notice light and how it shapes objects and fills a space, and how it showcases the surroundings outside.  If I’m moved by it or it sparks my curiosity, I’m compelled to capture it.

In consultation with a client, I ensure the message they want to deliver is executed clearly, with refinement and that the images I produce service their mission. Collaboration and communication is key when working with a fellow artist and designer. It is their artistic concept or creation being showcased with the help of my skilled eye.

I received my BFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2003, and I have 14 years of editorial photography experience shooting for Hoffman Media (10 of those years as senior photographer). I have shot internationally covering countless subjects including food recipes, interior homes, travel features, lifestyle and entertaining ideas, artist and designer profiles, and celebrities.  Magazines I have features in include Bake From Scratch, Cook: Real Food Everyday, Southern Home, Victoria, The Cottage Journal, Southern Lady, Taste of the South, Southern Castiron, Teatime, Louisiana Cookin, Classic Sewing, as well as published in multiple books.
